In the past two years, Groton Regional Theatre has performed Neil Simon's mainstream comedy "Plaza Suite" and the kid-happy musical "Annie."
Oh, how times have changed.
This weekend, GRT is staging "The Rocky Horror Show," complete with transvestites and time-warping.
Since this is "Rocky Horror," after all, they're even doing a midnight show, this Saturday.
But "Rocky" regulars should know they won't be allowed to hurl toast and T.P. Throwing items is prohibited here.
Good news, though: Dressing up is totally encouraged.
Ken Schroeder stars as Frank N. Furter, Jane Hefel as Janet, and Eric Bowles as Brad.
Filling the other famous shoes are Mhari O'Donnell as Magenta, William Whalley as Riff Raff, Ruthie Mattison as Columbia, Michael Schroeder as Rocky, Harald Hefel as Eddie/Dr. Scott, and Ann Wimsey as the Narrator.
H. Victor Panciera directs, with Nathaniel Baker serving as musical director and Sara Jones as choreographer.
