Norwich – The 99 Restaurant on Route 82 recently presented a check to the John B. Stanton School for more than $2,300 after a fundraiser held at the restaurant.
Superintendent Abby Dolliver said the restaurant is a “partner” with the Stanton School, and the money will be used to enhance educational programs. Stanton this summer was named one of four state Network Schools slated to receive additional state funding to improve student performance.
Officials at the restaurant presented the check to Principal Christine Gilluly, Board of Education Chairwoman Yvette Jacaruso and Dolliver.
“We certainly appreciate their generosity and partnership,” Dolliver said.
