Public meetings scheduled for Groton school redistricting talks

Groton - The Groton school district has announced dates for an upcoming series of public informational meetings outlining proposed redistricting measures being taken to correct a racial imbalance.

At 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 at Claude Chester Elementary School a community-wide meeting will introduce the proposed elementary redistricting plan.

Three other neighborhood meetings are aimed at families affected by proposed changes to particular schools and the surrounding districts.

The meetings are:

6 p.m. on Oct. 17 at Catherine Kolnaski

6 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Mary Morrisson

6 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Claude Chester
