One night, one price, nearly 50 restaurants and specialty shops offering you food and hospitality - what's not to like?

It's all yours during the New London Fall Food Stroll Wednesday. You buy a food stroll button ($25 in advance, $30 that day), and then you wander downtown and sample dishes cooked up by local venues. Participating stores offer special discounts, promotions and demonstrations, too, and local musicians play.

New London Fall Food Stroll, 5:30-8:30 p.m., downtown New London; buttons $25 in advance, $30 Wednesday; also, $20 in advance, $25 Wednesday for military and students with ID, free for kids 5 and under; buttons sold at Main Street office, 147 State St., Suite B (second floor), New London; newlondonmainstreet.org.
