Bakery opening in Old Saybrook

The Great Harvest Bread Co. bakery will open at 535 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook on Friday.

Owned by town resident Donna McNeill, the bakery is one of more than 200 Great Harvest locations throughout the country. The store features Peet's Coffee and teas, wi-fi service, salads, soups, sweets and breads baked from scratch.

Guests will be able to watch the baking process.

The bakery will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 860-235-4513 or go to www.OldSaybrook.GreatHarvestBread.com.
