UConn junior Enosch Wolf is sidelined indefinitely after suffering a concussion in practice on Friday.

Wolf, a 7-foot-1, 245-pound center, tweeted about his injury.

"Hate concussions! Especially 3 in 10 months. I just wanna put that UConn jersey on and play ball!!!"

He had two concussions last season, including one prior to the Big East tournament in March that sidelined him for the rest of the season.

The Huskies can't afford any injuries to an already thin frontcourt. Coach Kevin Ollie is taking a cautious with Wolf.

"It's his third concussion," Ollie said. "We just don't want it to get to a point where he has to retire from basketball. ... He's feeling much better now but we just want to see once he starts doing cardio if the side effects come back."

Wolf is the only true center on the roster. The Huskies have only two other players over 6-8 in junior Tyler Olander and freshman Phillip Nolan, two 6-9 forwards.

The news comes just over a week before UConn's exhibition opener Nov. 1 against American International College. The season opener is Nov. 9 against Michigan State at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Ollie expects that Wolf will make the trip to Germany.
