Jo-Ann (Gerundo) and Bill McMurray of North Stonington, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by attending a Golden Jubilee Anniversary Mass at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich. The Pontifical Mass was celebrated by Bishop Michael R. Cote during which they renewed their wedding vows. A personalized certificate was presented followed by a reception for family and friends.

Jo-Ann and Bill were married at St. Jerome's Church in New Britain, on Nov. 3, 1962, and were blessed with four sons, Mike, Bill, Tim, and Phil and their spouses, Luba, Mary, and Cheryl; and five grandchildren, Cameron, Timothy Patrick, Joanne Rose, Michael Jonathon, and Angelic.
