Three local soldiers complete basic training

Three people with local ties graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.

They are: Army Pfc. Paul E. Hodge, son of Wendy and Steven Hodge of Norwich; Army Pfc. Colin R. Vidos, son of Jenny and Glen Pothier of Jewett City; and Army Pvt. Richard J. Hill, son of Laurie St. Germain of Uncasville.

Hodge is a 2008 graduate of New London High School. Vidos is a 2011 graduate of Griswold Senior High School. Hill graduated from high school in New York in 2011.
