Absentee ballots available for Nov. 27 referendum

Preston – Absentee ballots for the Nov. 27 referendum on a proposed $8 million borrowing package for the cleanup of the former Norwich Hospital property are available in the town clerk’s office at Town Hall, which will be open limited hours, because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Town Hall is normally closed on Mondays. In addition, the Town Hall will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 and will be closed Friday, Nov. 23 and the following Monday, Nov. 26.
