I am the elderly gentleman who along with our Silky Terrier Lacy were the victims of a vicious Pit Bull attack at Borrows Field in Groton where Lacy lost her life. My wounds are healing. My wife and I are still coping one day at a time.

We would like people to be aware of the consequences if you are not prepared for an attack by a Pit Bull. The destruction they can cause is devastating. Unfortunately, I was not fully prepared. I only had a can of pepper spray, which did nothing causing Lacy to lose her life.
