Now that the election season is winding down and the season of joy approaches, I would like to take this opportunity to tell all of those dedicated, supportive individuals who worked with me on my 2012 campaign for state Senate how much I appreciated all their support.
Raising funds sufficient to qualify for the Citizens Election program and mounting an aggressive campaign was a seemingly daunting task and would have been unachievable had it not been for the many people who stepped up and joined with me to make my campaign a successful one.
We were successful in qualifying for the Citizens Election program, in starting a campaign from the ground up, in building a volunteer base and in building momentum within the Republican Party in the 18th district. We ran a campaign that we can all be proud of.
My appreciation to all who worked side-by-side with me and who believed in our ability to make a difference in Connecticut.
