Waterford — Police are investigating the Thursday night robbery of the Henny Penny located at 26 Norwich Road in the Quaker Hill section of town.
Police said the male robber claimed that he had a gun, and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery was reported at 8:25 p.m.
Police said the suspect is white, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall. He was wearing a tan sweatshirt and black shorts with a white stripe.
This is the second time in a little more than a month that the convenience store was robbed.
On Oct. 22 two men wearing masks entered the store and displayed a weapon. The pair stole cash and fled on foot. Police have since arrested two suspects in connection with that robbery.
