Groton – An anonymous tip led Groton Town Police to a Buddington Road parking lot, where they arrested three local men on narcotics and related charges Friday afternoon.
Sean P. Connolly, 20, of 301 Buddington Road, Lot #41 was charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance not in its original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, disobeying an officer’s signal, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to use turn signal and failure to drive right. He was held on a $75,000 bond.
Arthur Anderson, 24, of 43 Division St., was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance not in its original container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and interfering with an officer. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
William Drakos, 26, of 372 west Shore Ave., was charged with criminal attempt to possess a controlled substance. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
Groton police received an anonymous call at 3 p.m. Friday of suspicious activity in the parking lot of 68 Buddington Road. As a result of the investigation officers seized more than $4,000 in cash and more than 130 Oxycodone pills packaged for sale in various dosage amounts.
