Norwich — Police say a car driven by a drunk driver struck a utility pole at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday night, knocking down wires and closing a portion of Bosweell Avenue between Ruth Street and Mohegan Park Road.
The driver, Mark Olszewski, 50, was not injured. His address was not available from police. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right and interfering with a police officer. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
The 'grinding' dance style has sparked controversy at East Lyme High School. Should this form of dancing be banned at school dances?
