WHO: Tom and Amy and their three children - sons who are ages 9 and 2½ and a daughter who is 5.

AGENCY: Care & Share of East Lyme Inc. is an all-volunteer organization that provides food, financial and emergency support to individuals and families in need in East Lyme and Salem.

THEIR SITUATION: Tom works as a chef but his hours have been cut. Amy cannot work because of the requirements involved in caring for their younger son who is a medical special-needs child.

WHAT TO GIVE: Gas cards, gift cards for toys and grocery cards.

TO DONATE: Call Care & Share at (860) 739-8502 to set up a time to drop off items at their office at 12 Roxbury Road, Niantic.
