Debra Chamberlain of Groton has won 2012 Realtor of the Year honors from the Connecticut Association of Realtors.
The Commercial Record reports that Chamberlain won the award last month at Foxwoods Resort and Casino during a leadership conference. The award is presented annually to an agent who displays commitment, leadership and dedication to the trade association at the state, national and local levels.
Chamberlain, an agent with William Raveis Real Estate in Mystic, also is the association's president-elect for the coming year. She previously has been president of the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and was its 2011 Realtor of the Year.
