Foxwoods Resort Casino's chief marketing officer, Rebecca Carr, has left the casino, Foxwoods CEO Scott Butera confirmed Monday.
"Becky did a great job," Butera said. "She's leaving to do other things."
Butera said Carr "helped us get to a certain point," and that Foxwoods would shift its focus somewhat to direct marketing to customers. He said the casino plans to fill Carr's position and that he and Todd Greenberg, the chief operating officer, would handle marketing duties in the interim.
Carr, former head of global marketing for Verizon Business, took the Foxwoods job in November 2011.
