Dinner with a side of opera

Opera Theater of Connecticut will launch its 2013 season with an opera concert and dinner at Café Allegre in Madison on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Led by Artistic Director Alan Mann, featured singers will perform pieces from OTC's 2013 season, including selections for the Sanibel Music Festival in Florida and highlights from Verdi's "Rigoletto" to be performed in August.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with three-course dinner and performance at 5:15 p.m. Admission is $35 per person for both music and dinner (beverages not included). Café Allegre is at 725 Boston Post Road in Madison.
