Groton Town

Anthony W. Allen, 42, of Manassas, Va., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive in proper lane, driving without insurance and driving a motor vehicle while using a cellphone.

Kendall Hopgood, 46, of 16 Ledgewood Road, Groton, was charged Sunday with second-degree larceny by embezzlement and second-degree false statement.

Robert G. Kates III, 30, of 92 Route 2A, Preston, was charged Sunday with breach of peace.

Kristin B. Greene, 44, of 612 Noank Road, Mystic, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Norman R. Riley Jr., 48, of 8 Huntington St., Pawcatuck, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast and failure to drive right.

Ellis Post, 67, of 295 Benham Road, Groton, was charged Monday with driving an unregistered vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

Erin Beard, 32, of 47 Maple Ave., Uncasville, was charged Monday with driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured/unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Javier Serrano, 35, of no certain address was charged Sunday with second-degree trespass and criminal mischief.

State Police - Montville

Amy Hogberg, 34, of 310 Maple Ave., Uncasville, was charged Friday with illegal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Robert Piscitello, 32, of 19 Thermos Ave., Norwich, was charged Friday in Montville with third-degree criminal mischief, cruelty to animals, disorderly conduct, illegal sale of a controlled substance, interfering with police, possession of a controlled substance second-degree reckless endangerment and threatening.

Christopher Kotyk of Lisbon was charged Sunday in Griswold with first-degree failure to appear in court and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Eric Malloy, 29, of 15 Strosberg Road, Waterford, was charged Monday in East Lyme with second-degree failure to appear in court.
