Joan Lanzo of Niantic, previously a lending officer in the region for Bank of America and Citizens Bank, has been named vice president of small business solutions for Middletown-based Liberty Bank.
Lanzo will be responsible for developing small business relationships in eastern Connecticut.
She has eight years of banking experience in the Waterford and Niantic areas. Previously, she served as an account manager at Lonsdales Elevator Company, ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corp., and Otis Elevator Company.
Lanzo holds an associate's degree from Manchester Community Technical College, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Hartford.
