WTO wins on "106 & Park"

The New London dance crew WTO beat out another act to win a "Wild Out Wednesday" competition on BET's "106 & Park."

Viewers voted for their favorite of the two Wednesday. Three members of WTO danced on "106 & Park" - Todd Belcher, Kevin Mendez and JunJun. The other two members, who couldn't get to New York to audition, are Nelson Chalas and Manuel Chalas.

"It was a complete mind-blowing experience," Belcher, 20, says. He says WTO was psyched to "represent for New London, to let everyone know New London has talent."

WTO will return later in the year for a "Wild Out Week" competition on "106 & Park," although the exact date has yet to be determined. The winner of that, Belcher says, will get $5,000 and a Coca-Cola sponsorship.

WTO will also be in the New London Youth Talent Show March 23 at the Garde.
