ECC Coaches vs. Cancer campaign starts tonight

The Eastern Connecticut Conference will conduct its seventh annual Coaches vs. Cancer night for boys' and girls' basketball teams and cheerleading squads in games played tonight through Saturday night.

The event, run in conjuction with the American Cancer Society, has donated around $20,000 over the years. All ECC coaches will wear sneakers in the games, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to the American Cancer Society and athletes will wear pink accessories with their uniforms (wrist bands, socks, etc.)
