State Sen. Andrew Linares to discuss budget at forum Tuesday

State Sen. Art Linares will hold a town meeting from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Essex Library. Linares said he would discuss the state budget and his plan to make Connecticut more business-friendly.

He is currently proposing to eliminate the state’s business entity tax, he said.

Linares represents Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook.
