New London — Licensed, center-based education programs in the city are eligible to apply for school readiness grant funds.
School readiness funds are part of the State Department of Education’s School Readiness and Day Care Grant Program.
The money is awarded to licensed, center-based, early childhood programs to provide early care and education experiences for children ages 3 and 4.
Interested parties are required to attend an informational session scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. at LEARN, on 44 Hatchetts Hill Road in Old Lyme.
Application packets will be distributed during the informational session and are due by 3 p.m. on March 14.
