Josi Davis holds a CD release party

The amazing Josi Davis has completed a wonderful new record called "The Evolution of Love."

The CD is a fully-realized sonic production based around a cabaret show Davis wrote and performed onstage a year ago, and is comprised of 12 sophisticated, melodic, witty and oft-bittersweet tunes.

A release party for "The Evolution of Love" takes place Saturday at Old Orchard Farms in East Lyme. Davis has assembled an incredible band of local musical luminaries to accompany her for the show, and wine and beer will be available for purchase. Snacks are on the house.
