Your editorial, "At least keep track of all those guns," (Feb. 16), was a masterpiece. It was well written and is a wake-up call for all who read it. If I could afford it I'd send a copy to every member of Congress and request their candid honest response if they did not agree.

There have been too many hiding under the Second Amendment shield when they haven't even read it. I asked a friend of mine if that amendment gave him the right to own a Gatling Gun (early machine gun with a crank-operated revolving cluster of barrels). His answer was a serious, "Yes." Enough is enough!

I believe that there is a reasonable upper limit that we, as a country, are responsible to establish and enforce. Obviously, licensing and tracking are needed as well.
