Though billed as a solo act, Nashville's "Madi Diaz" is actually more of a collaborative effort between vocalist/guitarist Diaz and guitarist Kyle Ryan. The pair met at the Berklee School of Music and, after working on a class project together, joined forces as a songwriting unit.
Over the course of five years and several recording projects, the pair have beautifully honed an intelligent and contageous pop style. In 2012, with a one-two punch of albums, "Plastic Moon" and "We Threw Our Hearts in the Fire," Madi Diaz seems poised to break through in big fashion. See them perform a free show Sunday in the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den.
