New London Football Hall of Fame ceremony on tap today

New London will induct three new members into its Football Hall of Fame during the school's banquet and induction ceremony today from 2-6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Gary Emanuel (1976), Marvin Key (1969) and David Hadley (1976) will be honored during the ceremony while two former New London greats - brothers David and Jordan Reed - will be the guest speakers.

David Reed, who starred collegiately at Utah, was a member of the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens while Reed started at tight end for the University of Florida and left the Gators a year early to enter the NFL draft.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. For more information contact head coach Duane Maranda at (860) 437-6412.
