President Obama and his administration are out decrying the dire consequences of sequestration. These are scare tactics plain and simple. No one, absolutely no one, knows exactly how each department in the government will be affected! The president does not want to lose his spending spree. A couple of years ago he thought sequestration was the answer to all our woes.

It is much too early to gauge exactly how cuts must be made. One thing is for sure, the taxpayers will be hit hard (targeted by the politicians) in hopes nothing like this will come up again.

In the Defense Department for example, we could stop all this political warfare, nation building, and bring the troops home. This includes troops stationed in Germany. The only reason we keep them there now is as a financial cow to the German government.

The Europeans should be footing the price for their own defense.
