UConn junior Shabazz Napier will be in the starting lineup today for the season finale against Providence.
Napier, the team's leading scorer, has been sidelined the last two games with a right foot injury. He hasn't practiced since last week.
Freshman Omar Calhoun (sore right wrist) will sit out today's game. He's struggled in the last two games, converting just 2-of-21 field goal attempts.
The starting lineup looks like this: Napier, Ryan Boatright, R.J. Evans, DeAndre Daniels and Phil Nolan.
It is Nolan's first career start. A 6-foot-9 freshman forward, he's replacing injured Tyler Olander in the starting lineup.
Olander is on crutches. He's expected to have surgery on his left foot in a couple of weeks. He'll need about six to eight weeks of rehab after that.
More later after the game.
