UPDATED: Ledyard homes without power after tree limb falls on wire

Ledyard — One hundred and 60 homes on Route 117 near Church Hill Road were without power Tuesday night after a tree limb fell on wires at around 7:30 p.m.

Connecticut Light & Power spokeswoman Tricia Modifita said repair crews were on scene by about 9:30 p.m. and that power was expected to be restored shortly afterward.
