UConn men to play in 2K Sports Classic next season

UConn is one of the four headlining college basketball teams that will participate in the 2K Sports Classic next season.

The Huskies join Indiana, Boston College and Washington as the marquee teams in the field for the 19th annual event that will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.

Each of the four teams will host two regional round games on campus from Nov. 14-17 before advancing to the tournament's championship round games at Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 21-22.

The rest of the 12-team field will play in sub-regionals at campus sites. Match-ups will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the championship round at MSG are now on sale and can be purchased by contacting Tickermaster at 866-448-7849 or at Ticketmaster.com
