Norwich — The side of a home at 16 Fountain St. was hit this afternoon by a car.
No one was hurt, and homeowner Michael Grocki said his home was deemed structurally sound by a city building inspector and it would not be condemned.
“It shook me up a lot,” Grocki said.
Grocki, who lives alone, was watching a basketball game on TV when the incident occurred.
“I heard a crash and a side wall fell on me a little bit -- a little bit of plaster came down,” he said.
Police had few details, but said no one was injured.
Grocki said a woman in the neighborhood had been trying to move a car with defective brakes to another location when she lost control of the vehicle.
