13 graduate from Submarine Officer Advanced Course

Groton — Thirteen members of “Class 12060” graduated from the Submarine Officer Advanced Course Friday, March 15.

Lt. Andrew Pyle received the L. Y. Spear Award and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Award. Lt. Robert Bagley received the David Lloyd Award for Excellence and Lt. Justin Middlebrook was named a graduate with distinction.

Lt. Michael Furlan was selected as the course’s outstanding instructor.
