Lunch event to benefit Formica scholarship fund

Published March 20. 2013 4:00AM

Paul Formica, owner of Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant, has created the Donna Formica Scholarship Fund to celebrate his restaurant's 30th anniversary and commemorate his late wife, Donna, who opened the restaurant with him in 1983.

This scholarship fund will support local high school students who have a passion for culinary arts and community service.

Funds for the scholarship will be raised at the 30-Year Roll Back Lunch, to be held at Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30, when the restaurant will offer a menu with items and prices from 30 years ago. All profits from the lunchtime event will be added to the scholarship fund.
