Ledyard — Police arrested a Gales Ferry man Friday who they say took his neighbor’s car several times without permission, but would return the vehicle after driving it.

Francisco Ramirez, 22, of 7 Barry Drive, was charged with third-degree burglary, use of a vehicle without the owner’s permission and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said Ramirez took the car from another residence on Barry Drive on two occasions, but were unable to determine the exact dates.

Ramirez is scheduled to be arraigned today in New London Superior Court.
