Beer tip: 668 Neighbor of the Beast

If you get a sufficiently-hip design or logo or a celebrity huckster, you can sell anything. The fact is, the illustration on the cans in support of a beer called 668 Neighbor of the Beast - depicting the street-sign mailbox in front of a suburban home, presumably next door to the Great Crimson Imp living at 666 - are hilarious and clever. So much so, in fact, that you're almost inclined to NOT try this product from the estimable New England Brewing folks. But don't miss out. This Belgian ale is a great, hoppy, rich, foamy, hint-of-citrus/hint-of-dry-white-grape brew that looks like a hazy autumn sunset when poured in a mug. Careful: it's 9 percent alcohol.

Let's face it, machines are smarter and more efficient. It's a good trend.
Automation is great when it works, but when it doesn't, you still need a human.
Human interaction is overrated. Bring on the droids.
I don't use self-checkout. It just helps the store's profit margin by taking people's jobs
