Grave endeavor

An excavation site at Lynchburg, Va.'s, historic Old City Cemetery is a shallow trench encircling an area of the grounds to help determine how many graves are present and where they are located to map out the cemetery. Archaeologists are working to find and identify more than four dozen unmarked graves of Confederate soldiers.
