Visit FloGris for free on May 4

The Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme opens free to the public on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the only day each year the museum is open without charge to celebrate spring and showcase its summer offerings to the public.

Visitors may view the exhibition "Arthur Heming: Chronicler of the North," wander through historic gardens, play gallery games, make art, visit an artist's studio, or walk along the Lieutenant River. Steve Elci & Friends will present mini concerts for children at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
