A Farmington building company has won statewide awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. for three projects, including the Connecticut College Science Center.

KBE Building Corp. took home four awards in all, including The People's Choice Award and an Award of Merit for its work at the New London college.

The $15.3 million project built science laboratories, classrooms and seminar areas in a 26,000-square-foot renovation and a 14,000-square-foot addition.

The company also won for renovations at University of Connecticut's McMahon Dining Hall and took a special public-service prize for work at the Jennifer L. Hawke-Petit Health Lodge in Andover.
