The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will present two performances tonight: the National Theater Institute (NTI) performs its final project at 7:30 p.m. at the center, and the Monte Cristo Cottage First Friday Series happens at 5 p.m. at the cottage.

The NTI final project is "Before We Can: a dreamer's euology," an original student-created performance piece inspired by playwright Tennessee Williams' "Camino Real."

During the Monte Cristo First Friday Series, there will be a brief discussion of Williams' life and work. The Monte Cristo Cottage is at 325 Pequot Ave., New London. NTI will perform at the Rose Barn Theater at the O'Neill, 305 Great Neck Road, Waterford. Both events are free and open to the public.

For more information, call (860) 443-5378, email theaterlives@theoneill.org, or visit theoneill.org/nti.

Who cares? Can he play?
I agree with ESPN's Chris Broussard. It goes against my religious beliefs.
