What is this "new bump-in-the-road" the voters going to the polls at the Municipal Building had to bump over for the City of Groton election? I had to call out my name and address in order to enter the room to vote. What happened to privacy? Why does all of Groton within ear shot need to know who I am and where I live?
I still had to show a picture identification to boot. When some are trying to eliminate picture ID requirements, why is (the Democratically controlled) state of Connecticut requiring increasing the type of identifications?
I found this experience offensive. Did I miss the notice when this was voted on by the citizens of Groton?
