Actors beckoned to ‘Blue Yonder’

Stonington Players announces open auditions on June 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. and on June 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. for "Blue Yonder," by Kate Aspengren. Both sessions will be held at the Stonington Community Center Annex, 45 Cutler St. Performances will be at Wadawanuck Square, Stonington Borough on Aug. 13, 14, 15.

"Blue Yonder" introduces several eccentric women, including a flight instructor, a firefighter, a stuntwoman and a daredevil who plays with dynamite among others.

There are roles for eight women age 35 to 70 years old.
