Tigers to host youth clinic on June 15

The Connecticut Tigers will hold a free baseball clinic with former Major League players in conjunction with The Greatest Save on Saturday, June 15 from 1-4 p.m. at Dodd Stadium.

Former Detroit Tigers infielder Darrell Evans and other pro baseball players are scheduled to take part in the event, which is open for kids ages 6-15.

All children are encouraged to bring a glove, and kids participating can bring one item to be signed by the former MLB players. Those that plan to participate must pre-register at: https://secure.mlb.com/mlbpaa/events/legends_form.jsp

The Tigers begin their New York-Penn League season on Monday, June 17, against the Lowell Spinners, the Single-A short season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. For single game and season ticket information contact the Tigers at (860) 887-7962 or visit online at cttigers.com.
