Groton — The town and city police departments in conjunction with the state Department of Consumer Protection’s Liquor Control Division and the Governors Prevention Partnership cited five stores in town today for selling alcohol to minors. They are Eastern Point Wine & Spirit, Bridge Street Package Store, Super Stop & Shop, Universal Package Store in Noank and Haley Brook Market in Mystic.

The compliance checks of 17 stores were made possible by funding from the Groton Adolescent Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition.
