State to hold workshops on ergonomic safety

The Connecticut Department of Labor's Division of Occupational Safety and Health will conduct two workshops next month at which subjects such as ergonomics, record-keeping and material handling will be discussed.

The record-keeping workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon July 9. Ergonomics and material handling will be the subject from 10 a.m. to noon July 10.

A number of case studies will be used to highlight best practices. The free workshops will be held at 200 Folly Brook Boulevard in Wethersfield.
