Guisti named boys' basketball coach at NFA

Published June 28. 2013 4:00AM

Chris Guisti, an assistant coach at Norwich Free Academy for the last 13 years, was named the school's new boys' basketball coach Thursday.

Guisti is a special education teacher at NFA.

He assisted Neal Curland, who resigned earlier this month to take a position within the Bacon Academy administration.

"Chris has been a valuable member of coach Curland's staff for the past 13 years," NFA athletic director Gary Makowicki said. "He has demonstrated all of the necessary qualities of a head coach during that time. Chris does an excellent job of motivating and relating to the NFA basketball players. He will be an excellent head coach."

I foresee difficult U.S. relations with China and Russia for a long time.
Putin said Mr. Snowden is a free man and I agree with that.
Ironic isn't it? China, Russia and Cuba are the countries where Snowden has been or rumored to want to go.
The U.S. has greater issues that require international cooperation than pursuing the NSA surveillance leaker.
