Monty, the 13,000-pound Tyrannosaurus rex at the entrance to The Dinosaur Place in Montville, has moved - but not on his own.

It took a 90-foot crane to set 14-foot Monty about 120 yards to the right of his previous perch near the newly named Nature's Art Village.

In April, an authentic 1940s Fairbanks-Morse galvanized steel windmill and an antique portable steam engine came to rest nearby Monty, denoting the addition of the PAST Antiques Market & Museum to the rebranded property.

"We are very excited that Monty has found a new home," marketing manager Laura Rush said.
