Like Wimpy in the old "Popeye" cartoons, just the thought of a hamburger causes many of us to levitate and drool. Apparently, Katherine Erin Lee does not levitate but, rather, channels his clear love of food into lush, oversized oil paintings (as per "Born Tart," shown above). Lee is one of 10 artists showcased in a new exhibition, "Food, Fresco, Farm and Fotograph!," opening Saturday at Six Summit Gallery, 6 Summit St., Ivoryton. There are two receptions that day, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Internationally acclaimed food/mosaic artist Jason Mecier, whose clients include The Food Network, MTV, Rolling Stone and Showtime, is the juror for the show. Through July 27. Hours 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wed., 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Thurs., 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Fri., noon-4 p.m. Sat. and Sun.; (860) 581-8332, sixsummitgallery.com.
