Sailors of USS Stonewall Jackson graduate Basic Enlisted Submarine School

Groton — Eighty-five sailors of “Class 13320,” USS Stonewall Jackson (SSBN-634), graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School on Friday, July 12. Seaman Apprentice Stephen Graham was the class honorman. Seaman Apprentice Zachary Rinestine was meritoriously advanced. Seaman Recruit Angelo Dejesus, the class leader, received the Submarine Heritage Award and Seaman Recruit Anthony Wortham received the Navy Core Values Award. Seaman Kevin Crace, Seaman Frank Fajardo, Fireman John Helwig, Seaman Andrew Garton, Seaman Kyle Phinney, Seaman Recruit Johnathan Walston, Seaman Recruit Robert Kromer, Seaman Gen Li, Machinist Mate Third Class Lance Vanvogelpoel, Seaman Jesus Garcia, Seaman Matthew Koznetski, Seaman Apprentice Nathaniel Newland, Seaman Donald Hyzer, Seaman Apprentice Zachary Featherstone, Fireman Apprentice Kevin Heinz, Seaman Andrew Greene, Yeoman Second Class Jeremy Shaw, Seaman Zachary Collett and Seaman Recruit Max Casey were graduates with distinction.
